Trying of Faith

Sometimes life stinks... life hurts.
This song, "Worn", by Tenth Avenue North, speaks volumes of the pain we feel while on the earth.
We are all groaning for the day Jesus arrives to take us out of this place!  Even the trees of the fields and the mountains quake!

"For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now." Romans 8:22
We all deal with the yuck of life, that's just part of.  If you don't have a trial or two in your life at some point, while you are on the earth, you may need to check your pulse.  If you think life should be all roses all of the time, you will want to check The Truth of God's Word.

"for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." Matthew 5:45b

"My brethern, count it all joy WHEN ye fall into divers temptations..."James 1:2

""Beloved think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you as though some strange thing happened unto you:" 1 Peter 4:12

God never promised we would be free from the trials of this life.  If we didn't have some sort of trial in our life we wouldn't need God.
What will we do with the trials that come our way?  Will we turn to God or forsake Him?  When I say forsake Him I don't mean completly turn your back on Him and hate Him or speak evil of Him. By forsake Him I mean ignore Him, or acting like you can do life your own way. Sure you still believe God is God and Jesus is God's Son... but how are you living out this truth?   Will people look at you and find you guilty of living for God in your daily trials or are you telling God you can do life without Him by your actions and thoughts?
He is all we need.
All of this, these trials, this life, points to Him. It all boils down to Him.   EVERY tiny detail of our lives point to Him. How desprately we need Him.
When my kids have trials (hard times) at school, I so badly want to do everything within me to bail them out. Whether it be a bad paper, a mean classmate, etc. But I have to encourage them through it and remind them of scripture and tell them God is preparing them for the trials in the real world when they are adults. Will they bail, grow angry and bitter or will they perservere leaning on God's Word allowing God to carry them through.
Just like I want so badly to bail them out of their hard times, my Heavenly Father wants to do everything within Himself to bail you out of your trials too, but He knows it's for your good.
"Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience."   "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him." James 1:3 & 12

Remember this song?  "Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and the things of the earth will grow strangly dim, in the light of His glory and grace."   It's the only thing we can do when we are worn out from this world.

How can you not choose to go through these trials for all the love He poured out for You? Is He not worth it?
"There will be an end to these struggles, but until that day comes"...
Will you trust Him?
