THE RED BARN OUTDOOR MARKET!

Saturday was so much fun!!!  Words do not describe!
I could not sleep Friday night as I was so excited for Saturday morning!  And guess what? I even woke up BEFORE my alarm went off and sprang out of bed!
So the day started EARLY!  Amy was at the house by 8 am.

We jumped in Josh's F250 truck and rolled out the driveway with the clouds covering the sky.  (Yep, it was cloudy, windy and freezing. The sun didn't come out till we got home. )  It was hard to keep my foot from putting the pedal to the metal to get as fast as we could to The Red Barn Outdoor Market.
On our way we gave our day to our Heavenly Father and thanked Him for such a special blessing He had given us and asked Him to guide us.

 The Market
was about an hour away, but the seconds flew by quickly as we chatted like crazy to make up for lost time.

HERE WE ARE!
This was our favorite booth!  It was called The Embellished Rabbit.  It had sooo many fun afordable things!  We were so excited about this booth, Linda (the owner) she said she was moving to another state in the following months!  Bummer!  But she sure did bless us!

I bought these kitchen chairs from her.

I saw them and knew immediately they would fit perfectly in our kitchen!  And how could I pass them up for $35/chair?!  Good thing we were up and at em early! God had answered my prayer!  I had been praying for chairs!  There
was a matching buffet, but it was already sold.  The large items sale quickly so we will probably get there earlier next time.

Linda of The Embellished Rabbit and I sure do have the same style!  I loved all of her stuff! Here's some more goodies from our favorite booth:

"A  person may think their own ways are right, but the LORD weighs the heart." Proverbs 21:2 NIV

PINK!
I have a window with a verse on it in my home!  LOVE IT! Cute pew
and little # pillows!

Ellie and my mom came too.  They followed us there in a seperate car so they could leave early and do other things.  It was soo cold they did leave early!  :)

I just have to throw this picture in here...
yes, even the PINK port-a-potty excited me!  :)  My favorite color!  It does make goin in a port-a-pot a little more tolarable.  :)

I am really into pennants lately after having a Pintrest account.  I really liked the way they displayed theirs at this booth.  And have you ever seen an old shopping cart look so cute with all those pillows in it?!

Here are some more FUN booths:

Look how cute this display is!  See the fun strips of fabric in the back and the cute pompoms on the celing of her tent.  Check out the adorable sign!  This gal sold homeade cleaning products in style!

We were so thankful God gave us this special day!

Blessings and Prayers

I am so excited about tomorrow.  I don't think I have felt this much excitement in a LONG time!  I feel so giddy I may just burst!!!
Tomorrow, my best friend/ sis-n-law and I will do what we both LOVE doing... JUNKING!

And you know whats sooo fun about that?  She and I used to do EVERYTHING together!  Including having children together!  heeheeee!:)
Ellie and Chan are 3 days apart!  :)

Since life has become more and more busy, I don't remember the last time I got to spend a significant amount of time with her.  I am so thankful for this wonderful blessing the Lord has rained down upon me!!

Here is the amazing outdoor event we will be frolicking at :)

Doesn't this look like sooooo much fun!!!  This picture alone gets my heart rate racing!  :)
Silly I know, but so thankful for a sweet undeserved blessing.

There's going to be tons of vendors featuring: homeade goods; jewelry; crafts; junk; barbque; baked goods; food and more food; live music; raffles; etc.

I can't wait to tell you more about it!  Josh said we could take the truck, so I'm prepared to come home with lots of souviners!!  :)  And to top it all off, it's supose to be in the 70's!  It hasn't been that warm in a long time so we're ready to enjoy the sunshine!  God is so good!

As I try to wait very patiently for tomorrow to hurry up and get here, the Holy Spirit reminds me to pray for a very special friend in my life.  I just wondered... how do you pray?

I really like praying Scripture.  Have you ever prayed God's Word back to Him before?
Today I used Psalm 61 as my prayer and inserted my friend's name:

Hear my cry, O God: attend unto my prayer.  From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: I pray you would lead ____ to the rock that is higher than she/he.  Please be a shelter for ____, and a strong tower from the enemy.  I pray____ would abide in your tabernacle forever: and that ___ would trust in the cover of Your wings.  For You, O God, have heard ___'s vows: You have given ___ the hertiage of those that fear thy name.  You will prolong ____'s life: and her/his years as many generations.  ___ shall abide before You forever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve ___.  So I pray ___ will sing praise unto Thy name forever, that ___ may daily perform her/his vows.

I love that "God is no respecter of persons" Acts 10:34b,
and that He hears my prayers!!!

"Thy prayers and thine alms (alms= compassionateness as exercised toward the poor) are come up for a memorial before God." Acts 10:4b

So until tomorrow.....

Holy Spirit

Are you FILLED with the Holy Spirit?

I read this morning about Stephen in Acts.  It describes Stephen as "full of faith and of the Holy Ghost." Acts 6:5, and "being full of the Holy Ghost" Acts 7:55

Then guess what sermon I heard on the radio just minutes after reading....
It was about "being FULL of the Holy Ghost".

If you have surrendered your life to Christ ,The Holy Spirit has "SEALED" you, but are you allowing Him to FILL you?

FILL ME HOLY GHOST!!

"And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled wth the Spirit..." Ephesians 5:18

"...for thy love is better than wine." Song of Solomon 1:2

Come and Dine

I know I've talked about this before, but it's what God had me read again today.  So I wanted to share it with you.

John 21:12  "Jesus saith unto them,
Come and dine."

Are those words in red not the sweetest most romantic thing you've EVER heard?!!!!!!??!  And you know what else is so romantic about this passage in John 21?  Jesus took the bread and fish and SERVED His disciples right there after their long hard night of work on the sweet sandy beach with the sun rising!

Jesus is requesting YOU!
Come and dine with Him!

The KING of kings, and LORD of lords is asking you to come and communicate with Him, eat, and enjoy His presence!

"O taste and see that the Lord is good..." Ps 34:8

He loves you so much!

A Special Blessing

The past few weeks/months have been not so fun, if you know what I mean.  A little rollercoaster ride there for awhile.  But once again God reminds me of His faithfulness.  He loves me so much and proves it to me in His word.

"The Lord appeared of old to me saying: 'Yes I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.' "  Jeremiah 31:3

Sometimes we kinda forget this truth don't we.  I sure do.  Don't know why, I guess I get busy with life and forget to look at Him, quietly waiting for my attention.  He does let the trials come to my life to make me more like Him and to show me His glory.

"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,  knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.  But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing" James 1:2-4

"Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy." 1 Peter 4:11-13

My Sweet Jesus reminded me of His love for me through a friend.  She had no idea I was struggling, but just decided to give me this charm.

Isn't this the sweetest!?!!  The rose is on one side and the "la la love you" is on the other side.  Know what else is unbelievable?  I just met my new girlfriend and she didn't even know how much I love the color pink and roses!  I'm a shabby chic kinda gal and she didn't even know!

Blew my socks off!!!  It was just like my Jesus to reach down and wrap this sweet charm around my neck!  As I said, my girlfriend had no idea what I was going through, yet look at what the charm says.  "la la love you" .  SOOOOO SWEET~!  Every time I put this on, I will be reminded of my God's love for me.  He loves me with an EVERLASTING LOVE.

God is SO ROMANTIC!
