Ukraine Overview

So glad to be able to say "hey" from Ukraine!

Our travel from Kansas to Ukraine went GREAT! Things are going amazingly well so far, praise God! So glad my sister in law made it from the states to stay with me when Josh heads home.

At the moment we are back in the village close to V.  We just got here via 5 1/2 hour "mini bus" + 1 hour taxi ride.  Not fun, but lots easier than some families we talked to.   The bus was PACKED with a total of 19 people with all the windows up, plus our suitcase at our feet because it would not fit in the back with the other luggage.  :)

Praise God that we are on the downhill side of our trip now.  You have no idea how excited I am to have the home stretch at least in our sights.  We have had lots of fun here, but ready to be home.  There is some amazing history in Ukraine.
We climbed up to the top of this bell tower!

We toured an 1200 year OLD church,  that had AMAZING architecture and history!  The colors, wall paintings, gold pieces & artifacts were breathtaking!  Pictures do NOT do it justice.  We even saw how people went in to worship.  As we toured the grounds I was reminded of God's sacrifice He gave us so we do not have to worship Him in a building at appointed times, but in our everyday lives, 24/7.
1 Cor 3:16 "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"
I am overwhelmed that God chose to live in and through me!!!!

Many things have happened since we arrived.  Lots to tell. Can't wait to tell you the nitty gritty.  :)
Thursday is a HUGE day for us, please keep us in your prayers.  Pray also for Josh, he is not feeling well.  Hopefully we can update you more specifically this weekend.  For now.... Sweet dreams from Ukraine.
